Radiology LMH Services

Radiology / Medical Imaging

Sleep CenterThe Department of Radiology provides a complete range of medical imaging procedures in general radiography and in subspecialty areas. Radiologic technologists and radiologists use advanced technology to deliver high-quality studies in a compassionate environment. All of our technologists are ARRT registered, and many have additional certifications in specialty areas.

All areas of Radiology, including a dedicated Outpatient Center which opened in July 2006, are designed with patient comfort and modesty in mind and utilize the latest equipment and techniques. This, accompanied with a qualified, professional, and caring staff assures the delivery of high quality patient care.

The Radiology department has been 'filmless' since 2002, when we incorporated our first PACS (Picture Archival and Communications System). In December 2007, our legacy PACS system was replaced with McKesson HMI PACS. An integrated McKesson RIS is scheduled for implementation in mid 2010. All studies are digitally acquired and sent electronically to high definition monitors where they are interpreted by radiologists. Referring physicians and/or specialists may quickly and conveniently view their patients' studies through a safe internet connection or on CD's provided by our department.
