March 15 ‘Parenting Fair’ Being Planned

This year’s “Parenting Fair ” will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, at Hal Henard Elementary School. The free fair, which last year attracted 3,000 people, is sponsored by the city and county school systems, Laughlin Memorial Hospital, and its affiliates. Shown here are those who attended a meeting Thursday to plan the Fair. In the front row, from left, are: Dr. Joe Parkins, director of Greene County’s schools, Chuck Whitfield, Laughlin Hospital’s president; and Eddie Jordan, an assistant superintendent of Greeneville’s schools.
