Sun Photo by Larry Self A special rigging crew from Phillips Medical Systems carefully unload a new seven-ton MRI (magnetic resonance imaging device) on Tuesday afternoon into the newly constructed Laughlin Center for Outpatient Services. The MRI, which costs more than $1.5 million, is one of two new MRIs that will be used in the hospital’s outpatient center. The center is scheduled to open for patients on July 10, hospital officials said. The center will be located on the lower level of the new hospital wing. |
