Your Hospital Bill

Any insurance deductibles or patient portions should be paid at your admission.

Your bill includes two types of charges.

Basic daily room rates:

• Room

• Nursing Care

• Meals and nourishments

• Linen and housekeeping

• Business and management services

• Many other services necessary for your healthcare needs, such as engineering, social services and security.

Special and miscellaneous charges include:

• Operating room and recovery room

• Laboratory and radiology tests

• Medications

• Other treatments and tests which require special equipment

• Special supplies

• Speech, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy

You will be charged for room and board on your day of admission, but not your day of discharge.

Your hospital bill will not include charges for your personal physician, the radiologist, the pathologist, other private physician services, or anesthesia services. You will be billed separately for these services.

Although you may have insurance or other health benefits coverage, you are ultimately responsible for your bill and must correct any problems with payment by your carrier. We will be happy to help you file your insurance.
