Occupational Therapy

The purpose of occupational therapy is to help patients gain independence in their lives despite their disabilities in the areas of work, play or self care. Treatments offered include training in activities of daily living, adaptive equipment recommendations, work/home environment modifications to restore independent functioning, and instruction to family members in safe and effective methods of caring for the person with disabilities.
