Physical Therapy

The Physical Therapy Department is one of the professional service departments of Laughlin Healthcare Center. Its goal is to provide resident treatment and consultative services aimed at the identification, prevention, redemption, and rehabilitation of acute or chronic physical dysfunction or pain, with emphasis placed on movement dysfunction. The Physical Therapist may utilize therapeutic exercise, physical and chemical agents such as heat, cold, light, sound, electricity, water, air, massage, mobilization, assistive devices, and other agents or treatment programs consistent with current standards of care.
